CDW UK’s Sara Bowden Re-Elected to techUK’s Central Government Council

Back to all news

We are delighted to announce that CDW UK’s Sara Bowden has been selected to join techUK’s Central Government Council after a hotly contested election!

The CGC aims to lead debate on new technologies, optimise use of existing capabilities and provide a forum for the public sector to engage with industry. This includes close working with major Whitehall departments to help them act as intelligent clients when procuring technology.

The primary role of the CGC is to represent the tech sector at a high level to Government and set the strategic direction of techUK's Central Government programme, contributing to forward planning and ensuring the programme accurately reflects members’ priorities.

Commenting on her election, CDW’s Sara said “I am ecstatic to have been re-elected to the techUK Central Government Council, and so having the opportunity to continue collaborating across the industry and public sector to deliver digital transformation and improve services to citizens. The CGC provides a forum for innovation, creativity and debate, helping shape the technology for tomorrow today, and continuing to influence the agenda is hugely exciting both personally and professionally”

Congratulations to Sara on this fantastic achievement.
